Walnut House is an elegant family home only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ely, the tourist office and the famous cathedral.

Guests can park in our large driveway in front of the house and, for our spacious guest room, access is via a private doorway at the front of the house.

Walnut House holds a silver award from the English Tourist Board and is rated 4 star by Enjoy England, reflecting the consistently high standard of the accommodation offered.

Ely is the perfect location to explore the surrounding area with Cambridge, Newmarket, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Welney, and National Trust properties, Anglesey Abbey and Wicken Fen all less than 20 miles away.

Ely itself offers a variety of options for visitors, whether you wish to take in a bit of culture at the cathedral and the Oliver Cromwell House, browse the many bookshops, antique shops art galleries and markets, take a boat trip on the river - or simply wish to relax and enjoy afternoon tea in one of the city's tempting traditional teashops.
